Welcome to Jonaki ("we", "us", "our"), the online store operated by Rupashree Jewellers RB. By accessing this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Last updated: 23 June 2026.

0. Who we are (mandatory disclosure)

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to place an order. If you are under 18, an adult must place the order on your behalf using their own contact details and payment method. By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Products & descriptions

• The Jonaki range is lifestyle / fashion jewellery — brass and alloys with gold-tone or silver-tone plated finishes, set with stones such as cubic zirconia, glass and semi-precious stones. Not certified hallmarked precious metal. HSN 7117. GST 3%.
• We do not sell hallmarked gold or hallmarked silver under the Jonaki line — for certified hallmarked jewellery, visit our parent brand Rupashree Jewellers at 128 Rash Behari Avenue.
• We make every effort to display colours and details accurately; actual products may vary slightly due to screen settings, photography, and the hand-finished nature of each piece.
• Weights, where stated on the product page, are approximate (±0.1g) and reflect the gross weight of the finished piece, not the precious-metal content.
• All prices are in INR and inclusive of applicable GST — shown on your invoice as 1.5% CGST + 1.5% SGST (within West Bengal) or 3% IGST (outside West Bengal).

3. Pricing & payment

• We accept online payments (UPI, cards, netbanking, wallets) via Razorpay for all orders.
• Cash on Delivery is available for Kolkata pincodes (700xxx) on orders up to ₹10,000; our team will WhatsApp you to confirm before dispatch. Orders above ₹10,000 and all non-Kolkata addresses are prepaid only.
• Prices may change without notice; the price at checkout is the price charged.
• We reserve the right to cancel orders due to pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected fraud — with a full refund.

4. Orders & cancellation

An order is confirmed only after successful payment and our confirmation message via email and/or WhatsApp. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion (with a full refund). For your cancellation rights as a customer, see our Returns & Refunds section 8.

5. Intellectual property

All content — the Jonaki name and mark, logo, images, text, design — is owned by or licensed to Rupashree Jewellers RB and may not be used without written permission. "Jonaki" trademark application no. 3970445, Class 14, currently pending registration with the Trade Marks Registry of India.

6. User conduct

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, scrape pricing or stock data, or infringe our intellectual property.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from a purchase is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

8. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or non-performance caused by acts of God, government orders, strikes, riots, courier failures, internet outages, pandemics or other events beyond our reasonable control. We will keep you informed and refund or reschedule fairly in such cases.

11. Lifetime re-polish — the Jonaki promise

For as long as you own a Jonaki piece, you may bring it to our Rashbehari showroom at 128 Rash Behari Avenue, Kolkata (or post it to us at the same address) and our showroom team will re-polish it free of charge. This is a binding contractual commitment, not a marketing promise. No receipt required. Postage to us is your responsibility; we cover return postage. If a piece needs a new stone or a replacement part, we'll send you a quote first — that work isn't covered by the free re-polish.

12. Effective date of contract

The contract between you and Rupashree Jewellers RB for the sale of a Jonaki product becomes legally binding the moment we send you an Order Confirmation message (via email and/or WhatsApp) acknowledging payment receipt. Until that confirmation is sent, your order is an offer that we may accept or decline.
